Diving Log 5.0 now supports the ability to import dives from your dive computer and merge that data with existing entries in you logbook. So you can capture dive information at the dive site on withDive Log on iPhone and later merge that with the data your dive computer captured during the dive for a complete record.
You can also run Diving Log 5.0 on your Mac if you are using Apple’s Boot Camp or virtualization software (we have tested Diving Log 5.0 with VMWare Fusion 2.0 and above on both Windows XP and Windows 7).
Dive Log Manager/Dive Log DT - Mac OS X
Dive Log Manager is a free application for Mac OS X that is designed specifically to allow you to manage your logbooks between your Mac and Dive Log on iPhone and view your logbook on your Mac. You can also purchase a license to unlock additional features if you desire. Dive Log DT is the licensed version of Dive Log Manager that is available on the Mac App Store.
The “Synchronization and Backup” feature of Dive Log Manager enables you to transfer logbook files between Dive Log and your Mac. You can use this feature to backup and restore your Dive Log data on iPhone. You can also use this feature to transfer new logbooks converted from desktop diving logbook applications to Dive Log on iPhone.
The “Import” feature of Dive Log Manager enables you to import data from compatible desktop applications and file formats. The combination of Dive Log on iPhone, Dive Log Manager and a compatible desktop application make it possible to capture information on your dive trip and later merge it with your dive computer data that you have imported on your desktop computer. Information from your dive computer (such as the depth, time and profile data) is merged with the information that you previously recorded about that dive directly on your iPhone (such as location, buddy, GPS and environmental information).
MacDive - MacOS
MacDive is an easy to use, full featured dive log application available for your Mac with extensive support for importing dive computers and other logbook formats. You can now carry your MacDive logbook with you on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and make additions and changes that can readily be synced back to MacDive on your Mac when you return home. MacDive will even “merge” data that you entered on your dive trip using your iOS device with data imported from your dive computer after you get home to maintain a complete log of your diving experience.
