DiveLog DT Won't Open

The last time I was using DiveLog, from viewing all dives, I selected Dive Types, and the app just didn't do anything, so I closed it. Now when I try to open it, nothing happens beyond seeing it in the application menu. When I select any item from the menu, nothing happens. I thought I would reinstall it, but I can't find a download. In the App Store the only option is to open it.

Hi,

Apple has been having some difficulties with their Mac App Store licensing of late (this is affecting a verity of applications not just Dive Log DT). The issues appears to be related to some of their signing certificates expiring and the resulting licensing data installed on your Mac being out of date as a result. Some people find that the issue resolves by just restarting their Mac, however in some case you do need to reinstall the application. To do this you'll need to first remove it from your Applications folder by dragging the Dive Log DT app to the Trash (removing it from the Dock is not sufficient) and then you can download/install it from the Mac App Store Purchased tab (the button that you are currently seeing labeled "Open" will change to "Install" once the old copy it removed). Your logbook file and setting are stored elsewhere on your Mac so removing Dive Log DT from the Applications folder will not affect your logbook (although, you may need to explicitly use the "File->Open" menu item in Dive Log DT to open your logbook after the reinstall if the system did not remember the original location of your logbook file).
