I had a Suunto Eon Core that broke down, and I’ve got a new one. How can I register the new computer in the Dive Log app in iOS?

Hi,

You should be able to just enable Bluetooth on your new EON Core and bring int into range of your iPhone/iPad with the Downloads screen open. The new EON Core will show up under your existing one when it is detected. Then just tap on it and it will pair and be available for use. The previous one will continue to show up for a while as a "previously used Suunto" but you can just ignore that.

If you are having difficulties getting your new EON Core to show up in Dive Log it may be because the Core is in Airplane Mode or has been previously paired with a different phone, tablet or computer. You should take these steps:

1) On your new EON Core using the buttons navigate to:

General->Connectivity->Forget Mobile

to tell it to forget any previous pairing it might have had.

2) On your new EON Core using the buttons navigate to:

General->Connectivity->Airplane Mode

and make sure that it is off.

3) On your iPhone/iPad use the Settings app and tap on Bluetooth. Then tap on the little "i" next to any Suunto EON that you see and tap the "Forget this device" item.

4) You might also consider restarting your iPhone or iPad (search for "Restart iPhone" in your favorite search engine and locate Apple's support link).

Please reach out again if you are still having difficulties. It might be best to use our support email (support 'at' moremobilesoftware 'dot' com) for more detailed assistance if you need it.

Cheers,

Greg

Hi,

This solved my problem. I just had to delete the old connection.

Thank's for the help.
