Ich möchte meinen Buddy auf einer Safari nicht 25 Mal unterschrieben lassen sondern dies im Nachgang in Ruhe @home nachtragen

Well I understand why you would need this if you wait until you get home. But if you think about it, if you can just "copy" another divers signature without their knowledge, it's not really much of a *signature*. In other words, if you can just copy your buddy's signature to any dive you want, they won't even know that they are signing off on a dive. I do grant you that "signing" a logbook is not exactly like signing a contract or anything like that so this might be a bit too restrictive for some people. And also, few people are bringing their Mac's with them on the eg: boat to have the buddy sign.

Just FYI, what a lot of our users do is have an iOS device (iPhone or iPad) with them while diving. Then you can have your buddy sign the dive there and then sync your logbook back to the Mac when you return home and continue filling out the dive information on your Mac.
