Thanks for the suggestion(s). Apple Health integration has been suggested by other users too and it is something that we are looking at. I can't make any promises, but it does seem like it would be of some interest.
Do you have any suggestions for how one might get swimming distance data to upload? We don't currently directly collect any information that could be obviously used for swimming distance calculations. Sounds like you might have some ideas on that?
Thanks,
Greg

Shearwater dive computers Perdix and Nerd both have GPS features and may potentially collect distances between navigation points [ A to B to C to D = 2000 meters ] during the dive period. Ivan at Shearwater Technical Support could answer the question accurately.

Thanks ... I'll look into it. Typically, GPS coordinates from a dive computer are only accurate at the surface (so at start and end of dive) which might result in inaccurate distance measurements (if you start and end your dive at the same location for example). Maybe they have some features that I'm not aware of though so we'll see what is possible.
Thanks,
Greg

I hope this is ok to post here. A friend of mine wrote a simple iOS program that allows me to enter my time on a dive and it will give my Apple Watch and the Fitness app a scuba workout. While this doesn't yet support SAC rate, distance swam, etc from your request, it at least does give credit to close your rings.
I'm also curious about the GPS you said is in the Perdix? I have a Perdix AI, my primary dive computer, and I see nothing anywhere about a GPS? I've tried a google search and have not found it. Can you point me in the direction of what you are talking about?
Thank you.
Mikel
