Is it possible to have an option added to search for dive-sites nearby?
Like you open the map, zoom to a respective area and then look for dive-sites nearby from e.g. DiveLogs.de or other sites that populate dive-site data based on GPS coordinates...

No specific need to show a lot of data on it - just a Flag with the dive site name should suffice, you can search for the data elsewhere..

We do have the ability to look up dive sites by name using DiveBoard.com (as well as a general reverse geocoding lookup) in our Mac product (DiveLogDT). We have wanted to add this support to Dive Log for a while but just haven't had the resources (i.e. time) yet. This works the other way around from what you've suggested, but we might be able to leverage the API to do something like what you have suggested. I do like the idea, thanks for the suggestion! No promises on how quickly we might be able to get to this, but we'll definitely add to our to-do list!
