Merging a logged dive with a computer download

Hoping for some advice in advance. My Suunto USB download cable has failed (I have a D9tx and a D4i) and I have ordered a new one, it is taking some tome to arrive, in the mean time I have conducted 30 dives. I have logged them all manually onto DiveLogDT on my Mac. I cannot download the dive "profile" manually and so they are currently missing.
When the cable arrives I will be able to sync the computer and download the dives with the dive profile, but this would as far as I can see, duplicate them all, and lead me to having to copy over all the site the information.
I have the dive log synced to the cloud and to my iPad.
Is there a way to merge, what will be the new downloads with the currently recorded dives to get the dive profiles added?

Hello Tim,
Yes, there is a way to "merge" and this is how DiveLogDT was designed to work from the very beginning. (For those logging their dives on say their iPhone while diving and downloading their dive computer on their Mac just for example).
Using some numbers to make it clearer. Let's say that you have dives 1-41 in your logbook completed. But now you have logged dives 42 to 72 as well, they just don't have a dive profile in them. When you download your D9tx when the cable arrives, you'll want to Download all your dives, or any dive after your Dive#41. Then select the dive that *should* be number 42 in the top window of your just Downloaded dives and then "Shift-Click" the last dive done so that all eg: 30 dives are selected in the upper window. Then, next to the IMPORT button, make sure that "Starting Dive#:" says 42. DiveLogDT should default to this, but even if it doesn't, you can type it in manually.
Now you should have 30 dives selected in the top window and your Starting Dive#: as 42 and click IMPORT. DiveLogDT will then merge in the dive computer information into what you have already logged for your dives. If you want or need to break up the Import into smaller chunks, you can do that too. Just select the dives you want to do at once in the upper window, make sure the Starting Dive#: is correct, and then click Import. And then you can do it over again with the other dives. If your dive computer dives don't match up "one to one" with your logged dives for some reason, then you'll want to Import in chunks.
Secondarily, you should be aware that your dive computer has limited memory and can only store a limited number of dives before the older dives are overwritten with newer dives. I can't remember how much memory your D9tx or D4i have, but I *think* you should be OK. But it's something to watch for.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions,
