Is it possible to reorder the dive list. I’d like to see the latest dive on top if possible.

Hi,
No, that is not currently an option in Dive Log. There are a couple of features that might help though:
1) Dive Log will return to the last part of your dive list viewed when it starts. So you should see the end of your list by default assuming that you've looked at your most recent dives most recently.
2) If you tap the "Status bar" (the area at the top where your cellular signal, time and battery level are displayed) Dive Log will scroll to the first dive in your history.
3) If you tap the "title bar" area (where the tab title is displayed: Dives 1 - 2550) Dive Log will scroll to the end (most recent) dive.
4) Once you have more than 200 dives in your logbook, Dive Log will display a segment index on the right hand side allowing you to quickly navigate to any block of 100 dives.
I hope that helps for now.
Cheers,
Greg

Thanks, Greg. I'm familiar with the use as I've had this great software for many years now. Still, this top order would be a handy feature to have since I routinely go through my previous dives and often do 20 dives at a site. The scrolling is not a problem but inconvenient. Could this be implemented in the future?

Sure, I'm happy to look at making this change. There are some complications that are mostly related to the fact that Dive Log's Dive list was designed based on early iOS API features but modernizing the API use in this area of the app has been on the table for a while. The other issue has to do with performance of large logbook data sets. Again, it is obviously possible it just takes more effort than you might imagine (we do a lot of optimizations to allow logbooks with 5000 dives to perform as well as logbooks with 100's of dives while scrolling for example).
I am curious to know more details about how a reverse ordered list would help in your use case? I'm probably being dense, but it would seem that the only difference would be scrolling up from the bottom of the list vs scrolling down from the top of the list. I feel like I'm missing something and would love some additional insights into how you'd use a reverse ordered listing to help your use case.
Your message also suggests two other features that you probably know about, but if not, might help your use case. First, under Statistics you can look at all the dives at a specific Dive Site filtering out all dives at other sites. Just tap on "Dive Sites" in the lower section of the Statistics tab and then tap the Dive Site that you are interested in investigating. This will show a list of all the dives recorded at that site. The other feature that you might look at is the "search" feature. In any location that you see a dive list (the main dive list as well as any of the statistics dive lists) you can scroll to the top (tap the status bar) and pull down the search bar or tap the "search" icon at the top of the section index list if it is showing. You can then search that list using a number of criteria (for example, you could pick all the dives with depths greater than x feet/meters and then search of the dive site name in that sub set of dives).
I'm sharing these ideas also for readers that might not be as familiar with Dive Log as you are. I certainly don't doubt the value of your feature request. I just feel like I can do a better job of implementing it if I understand the use case better.
Thanks for taking the time to help improve Dive Log!
Cheers,
Greg
