Different Consumption Calc between iOS and Mac

I've noticed a difference in the values for consumption rate in my iOS logbook and my MacOS logbook.
Here is my workflow: First, I import my dives from my Shearwater dive computer to my iPhone. I then use AirSync to import my updated logbook into my MacOS logbook.
The consumption rate value is consistently higher in the mac logbook by a small margin. Perhaps the two apps are using slightly different math for calculating RMV.
Here are my last 4 dives as examples.

Hi,
It is hard to tell without the details of your dives what might be going on. However, I suspect that there is setting difference in how you have Dive Log on iOS and DiveLogDT configured. The most likely culprit is the "Ignore Shallow Samples for Average Depth" preference in DiveLogDT and the "Ignore Surface Samples" Setting in Dive Log. If these do not match then the calculation of the average depth might be slightly different between the two platforms.
There are a couple of other possibilities, but without looking at your actual data, it is hard to tell what it might be. The basic calculations are the same on the two platforms but the inputs can vary for various reasons. There might also be some rounding differences on display, but that would only explain values different by "1" in the least significant digit (at least one of your examples is different by "2" in the hundreds). If you would like use to look more closely at the difference we would need to see your logbook (or at least a logbook containing a couple of affected dives). It does not mater where it comes from (iOS or Mac) as the data will be the same (AirSync does no data manipulation). You can also use DiveLogDT to create a "new" logbook and then import just a couple of dives into that logbook (use the IMPORT->Dive Log option in the sidebar and select your real logbook and add a couple of dives to the "new" logbook and then switch back to your real logbook). You can send the logbook to our support email (support 'at' moremobilesoftware 'dot' com) and we can take a look.
Cheers,
Greg
