Can't Add Buddies/Buddies missing in Dive Log update?

The recent update to Dive Log on iOS 6.0 is not working the way that it should when Dive Log has not been granted access to Contacts. You should answer "Okay" or "Yes" when Dive Log first asks for permission to access your Contacts. If you find that Dive Log is not showing your Buddies or if you can not add Buddies you should enable access to Contacts for Dive Log. You can take the following steps to regain access to Buddies:
1) Exit Dive Log by hitting the "Home" button on your device
2) Start the Settings app from the home screen
3) Tap on "Privacy"
4) Tap on "Contacts"
5) Make sure that the switch next to "Dive Log" is "On"
6) Start Dive Log again and you should be able to work with Buddies again.
If the above steps to not work, you may need to force Dive Log to restart. Dive Log should restart as a result of the above steps, but if it does not you can take these additional steps:
1) Double tap on the home button (this brings up the application manager)
2) Press and hold on the Dive Log icon until it jiggles
3) Tap the "-" that appears to fully close the app (if you see an "x" instead of a "-" do not press it as you've managed to get to the wrong place).
4) Start Dive log again.
I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We are still trying to sort out why this does not work in the App Store version of Dive Log (it works fine in our Beta test version) but will get a fix in place as quickly as possible.
