Hi guys,
Thanks for great product.
I have put all of my diving history into the app on my Mac, iPad and iPhone- it was a great way to reminisce and brought back some vivid memories.

A suggestion/request- could you please add a few more stats to the statistics part of the app please?

The first one that comes to mind is to track one's SAC rate and to graph it vs dive number (or time)
Others could be, for example, to track dives by depth, by type of gas used (Air, Nitrox or Trimix).

Another simple but useful feature would be to an ability to define "deep" and update all dives according to the new definition.

Hi Graham,

Thank you for your input on additional features that we can add to the Statistics section of Dive Log/Dive Log Manager/Dive Log DT. Some of your suggestions are already on our "to do" list and we'll be sure to add the suggestions that are not already on the list. We really appreciate getting input from users as it makes it much easier to prioritize our limited development resources.

One thing that is easy to over look is that it is possible to add custom Dive Types/Activities. These Dive Types can be used to categorize your dives and they will be grouped in the Dives by Dive Type section of the Statistics. To add a new Dive Type in Dive Log you can tap the "+" button while editing the Dive Types/Activities for a dive. For example, you could add a "Trimix" Dive Type and add it to your Trimix dives and then see all your Trimix dives in Statistics. I realize that this is not what you are looking for, but it might be a work around that you can use for some specific dive types you are interested in tracking until we can get the additional support added.

I've just purchased Dive Log Manager - great program!

Hi Daryl,

Note that Dive Log does calculate a SAC rate for each dive that you have entered a profile, tanks size, working pressure and start and end pressures. You will see it displayed on the iPad with your tank information and on the iPhone when you tap the tank information for a dive.

The request above was for some additional statistics related to SAC rate over a number of dives and to plot an instantaneous SAC rate on the dive profile. I just wanted to make sure you realized that basic SAC information was already available in Dive Log (assuming that you have the information required to calculate a SAC rate entered) in case you were not already aware of it.
