It finally happened! We released a new version of Dive Log Manager (version 2.4.0) on our website on April 4th, and today Apple has finally approved the Mac App store versions. Dive Log Manager 3.4.0 and Dive Log DT 4.4.0 have been released in the Mac App store.
New features include direct download of Suunto dive computers. The app has also now been "sandbox'd" which means that updates will be easier in the future. As a user, you will probably only notice some subtle changes due to the sandbox'ing, but there were many substantial infrastructure changes needed in order to meet the sandbox'ing requirements. The least of which was MacOS 10.8 which is the first OS to have the features needed for Dive Log Manager and is therefore the minimum OS for the Mac App store version.
The version from our website will continue to run on previous releases if you need it.
