Too many wheels!

I would really like it if DL would allow entry of things like depth, temperature, and dive time by simply entering the numbers on a number pad... I find the wheels to be really annoying to use, and much more error prone than just typing in the number would be.

Thanks for your input. I'll add that to the list of requests that I'm working on.

I really appreciate getting feedback from users as it makes it much easier to prioritize my development efforts.

Just wanted to second this. particularly annoying when dealing with three decimal places... and date fields. Matters less when only putting new stuff in but manually imputing a batch of stuff from a old dive log was a pain with all the scrolling. Smart number pad wins IMO. Might not look as cool though

To provide a counter view I actually like the wheel interface and find it works well. I'm on and iPad so maybe that makes a difference. If you do go to allowing direct entry please don't do away with the wheel feature all together.
