I'll certainly take a look and see if we can do anything to improve this aspect of the Profile display. The X axis is currently dynamic (i.e. it scales so that it shows the entire dive but to a minimum resolution of 1 minute). In the case of the screenshot that you shared, your dive was just over 1 minute (or at least had samples that spanned over 1 minute) so Dive Log showed two minutes worth of data on the display. If you tap the forward or backwards stepper buttons at the bottom of the display the "cursor" will advance by 1 sample (the sample rate is determined by your dive computer's setting ... some computers support an apnea mode that allows sampling every second which it looks like yours does given the 32 second sample in the screenshot). This sample rate will dictate how much more detail is available in the display. You can see more detail by rotating your iPhone as the total area for the display will be larger allowing the app to show more detail in the samples (it will still span 2 minutes though).
I will look at adding some support for shorter dives so that the profile can use the whole display for shorter dives. Possibly it makes sense to do this in combination with the status of the "Free Dive Mode" setting (see the in app settings) that we added a while back. I can't make any promises about how soon this might be available, but I'll add it to our list of item to address in an upcoming update. If it is possible to send me a copy of your logbook with some sample apnea dives that would be very helpful in making sure that we get the changes "right". If you are willing to do this, please contact me via email: support [at] moremobilesoftware [dot] com.
Thank you for pointing out this deficiency in using Dive Log's profile feature with apnea dives. I really appreciate hearing about ways that we can improve Dive Log directly from users as it makes it much easier to prioritize our development efforts.
That sounds great so far.
I will gladly send my logbook, what format do you need?
(I manage my dives in MacDive and then one-way sync them to the iOS devices).
Could easily send either my MacDive folder or the backup file from the iOS sync I get in MacDive.
(or you just tell me what works best for you and I'll look into it)

Any of the *.sql files (either the backup from MacDive or the logbook file from DLM) would be great. I'm just looking for some "real world" sample free dives so that I can make sure the changes to the profile code captures a range of conditions. I can use any of the .sql files directly and as long as they have a few free dives of different depths and length that would be perfect. So what ever is easiest for you.
