Hi, welcome to the forums.

It is not possible to download the Galileo Sol directly to the iPad using Dive Log. What you can do is log your dives while on the trip using your iPad into Dive Log and then when you return home use either our Dive Log Manager or Dive Log DT applications on the Mac or the Diving Log 6.0 on a Windows PC to import your Sol in such a way that it will merge the data from the Sol with the dives you recorded at the site on your iPad.

The basic steps are:

1) Log dives in your iPad at the dive site filling in information like dive site, buddies, weather conditions, equipment, etc.
2) When you are next back at your computer sync your iPad with Dive Log Manager, Dive Log DT or Diving Log 6.0
3) Download your Sol into the desktop application and specify the dive from the iPad that matches the first dive from the Sol being imported before doing the "Import" step.
4) Sync your data back too the iPad to create a full record of your dives on both your PC/Mac and your iPad.

I hope that helps. You can visit www.moremobilesoftware.com/divelog-sync for more information about compatible desktop application.

Cheers,

Greg
