Feature request: sunken objects (ship wreck, plane wreck)

Post by Nachttaucher »

I would be happy if you could enter sunken items in the dive book like this:

Name from the ship
Year of construction of the ship
When as the ship has sunk
Photos of the ship before and after the sinking

Thank you for the suggestion. We'll look at that for a future possible update to the logbook database.

In the meantime, you might consider adding the information to the Comments section of the Dive Site. Typically wreck dives are noted by the name of the ship/plane that is the primary focus of the wreck. You could include the details about the ship/plane (or ships/planes) under the Comments section of the Dive Site. You could also use the Dive Site photo to include a photo of the ship. Since you can only include one photo per dive site, you could in theory edit the before/after into a single photo (using an external image editing application) and include that image. This may need meet all your needs, but it is a way to make sure you capture the information in the logbook in it's current form.

Thanks again for the suggestion,

Greg
