Support for Crest CR4 family of computers?

Is there any plans to implement support for the Crest CR4 family of dive computers? These computers are being sold under the names of Genesis Centauri and Deep6 Excursion.

This family of computers uses Bluetooth LE and presently sync’s with its own app, Dive Story. However, there does not appear to be a way to export the dive log in any manner to allow importing to another program.

The dev for the libdivecomputer has added support for the Deep6 variant of this computer.

If a guinea pig is needed, well I guess I’m your Huckleberry as I have the Genesis version of this computer.

Thanks for reaching out. We have been working on support for the Genesis Centauri off and on for a while now but do not have anything ready yet. The recently added support in libdivecomputer is helping to move us forward. I would appreciate having another user to help test as we make progress.
