Importing from Garmin Mk3i

Post by Bernard Willame »

Hello,
By reading the forum I understood that you must first export a FIT file from the watch and then import it with the app.
This works correctly except for the duration of the stops.
When I import the dive with Diving Log 6.0 from a PC and then synchronize, it works correctly.
Here are 2 screenshots relating to this problem
Could you help me?
Thanks in advance
Bernard

Sure. I'll be happy to take a look. I can't tell anything from your screenshots about what might be going on, but if you can send me a copy of the FIT file(s) you imported that resulted in these screenshots I can process them and sort out any inconsistencies. Just send the FIT file(s) to our email address (support 'at' moremobilesoftware 'dot' com) and add any additional details about what you expect to see vs what you do see and we can get things fixed up.

Thanks,

Greg

Hi Bernard,

I just wanted to follow up to let you know that I have found (and fixed in the next release of Dive Log) the issue that you reported with the decompression information when importing a Garmin FIT file. Fortunately another user was able to share a Fit file that demonstrated the issue so we were able to reproduce it and find the underlying cause.

The new version should be available in the near future. If you need access to the update sooner please reach out via our support email address (see the About tab, under the "..." or More tab by default where you can email us from within the app).

Cheers,
Greg
