Joining multiple imported dives

Post by IslandDivers18 »

I have several imported dives from the same entry (a few minutes of surface time). What is the process to combine/join them into a single dive?

Thanks.

Hi,

In the Dives tab just long press on the first of the two dives you want to join and select "Append Following Dive" from the menu that appears, then keep repeating this until all the dives you need joined are done (always picking the first dive in the sequence). If for some reason the dives are not eligible to be appended you will get a popup that states this. In general, if you have multiple dives from the same dive/dive computer with a minimal (less than 30 minute) surface interval, they should join without issue. There are a few other conditions where it is not possible to join dives (most related to mismatched tanks on the two dives). Please reach out directly via email (support 'at' moremobilesoftware 'dot' com) if you encounter such a situation and I'll be happy to look at your specific situation.

Note that after you join the dives the dive numbers of later dives might not be "correct". You can manually renumber them or you can user the "Renumber Forward" menu item on the same menu as the "Append Following Dive" once you are done joining the dives.

I hope that helps,

Greg

Greg … thanks for the quick reply. The append worked 100% for what I had hoped to do.
