at first thank you for your great software!
I would have two suggestions to some features which I would like to have.
First - Weight Finder
I mainly use the equipment tab to know what I used while diving and how much weight I need.
So, I would love it to do it the way around.
Have a weight finder where I can pick some equipment pieces and then search for all dives matching these equipment configuration and see how much weight I needed on those dives
Maybe we also could set in the filter if it was fresh or salt water to get even more precise readings.
Second - Formatting for Comments
Most likely I write a comment to every dive and I structure it in some topics.
I would love to do some basic formatting. My loved way would be to format it in, for example, markdown way.

Thank you for your suggestions. It is always useful to hear what features are important to customers.
For your first request, you may be able to get part way to your desired feature by using the Statistics tab and visiting the Equipment option. You can then pick a specific equipment item and see a list of dives that used that particular piece of equipment. You can then look at the details of each dives to see how much weight was used on that particular dive. You can also refine the dive list by scrolling to top and using the search bar to refine your list (not all fields are included in the search though so this might be of somewhat limited value depending on your needs).
We have looked at formatting the comments in the past and will revisit this. I think markdown would be the most efficient solution as it would maintain compatibility with our sync feature and other platforms that can sync with Dive Log.
I will look in more detail at ways that we can improve Dive Log to meet your goals as we continue to work through our list of requested features. Hopefully the Statistics feature will get you part way to your needs.
