Thought you might like to know that Dive Log Manager is in the launch of the Mac App Store today!
It's the same version that is available from the More Mobile Software website. On the Mac App Store, the free version is called "Dive Log Manager" and the paid version is called "Dive Log DT". (They do not yet have anything like "In App Purchase")
All the versions will be the same between sites, it is just a different way of delivery and advertising for us. And we will continue to keep it that way. You need to be running 10.6.6 or later to install and run the Mac App Store (MAS) versions. The More Mobile Software (MMS) version will run on earlier OS releases - anything after 10.5.

Thank you for sharing your opinion on this subject. I am not the author of Dive Log Manager (just of Dive Log on iPhone), but your point is well taken. My goal was to help users understand the purpose of Dive Log Manager rather than to artificially inflate the reviews (as your own review points out there was a lot of misinformation in the existing reviews). Based on your comments, I have submitted a request for the review to be removed (hopefully it will happen soon).
It is a common practice in the iOS App Store to "stack" reviews. I have always refused to do this with Dive Log on iPhone (I never even ask anyone to review my products) as I don't feel that it is fair to the users. In this case I was careful to disclose my relationship to the product, but your reaction made it clear that this was not sufficient.

Dive Log Manager is a companion application to Dive Log for iOS. Dive Log Manager is a free desktop application that allows you to manage your digital scuba diving log book between your iOS device and your desktop. You can import dive computer profiles and other dive information from several different formats, and sync your logbook back to your mobile device using Dive Log for iOS.
