HI , similar to other request below of "batch updates", wouldn't it be possible to define a trip, then specify the buddies, the equipment with the trip and once
logging the dives, the trip information could automatically populate the dive.

This is pretty much the same question as here:

With Dive Log for iOS, just create a new dive from an old dive that has things setup already. Set it up once for the Trip and then use it to create all the subsequent dives.
