Dive Computer Buddy

Post by joebar66 »

Hi Greg

Just wondering. Are you planning to work with (or integrate) "Dive Computer Buddy" from DiveNav?

HI,

Yes we are. We licensed the right to integrate Dive Computer Buddy (DCbuddy) into Dive Log earlier this year (see this forum post). We currently have a beta DCbuddy unit from DiveNav and are working on adding the required support to Dive Log. Obviously there are a number of variables that will affect the ultimate availability of DCbuddy support in Dive Log so I can't provide a definitive date for when support will be available at this time.

Cheers,

Greg

Thanks

Great news and quick response!

On the other hand, it seems that I have to say goodbye to my old Aladin Air X. I don't think they will make an Interface. ;)

No worries.

Sadly, I suspect that you are right about the Aladin Air X. I have an old Air Z O2 that I really like and am in a similar boat.

Hi,

I'm both a user of Dive Logs for ipad and iPhone and I've recently got a DC Buddy for my Suunto Vyper Air.

If you need beta testers for trying to integrate the two devices, then I'd be happy to help.

Thanks

Hi Phillip,

Thanks for your offer to help Beta test our DCbuddy Dive Log support. Could you contact us via email (support 'at' moremobilesoftware 'dot' com) so we can discuss the details?

Cheers,

Hello

same here. My DCBuddy (for my Suunto Zoop) is on the way. I have 4 dives planned next week and start of September a full week of dive during a diving cruise.

I'm a DIve Log iPhone & iPad user syncing with MacDive on OSX today (see iOS8b4 malfunction report).

Hi Matt,

Please feel free to contact us via email (support 'at' moremobilesoftware 'dot' com) if you are interested in the beta program. We can discuss the details of required hardware and software more efficiently that way.

It appears that you have deleted your post about the "iOS8b4 malfunction" so I assume that issue is resolved. Let us know if not (again via email as we do not *officially* support Apple's beta release versions of iOS ... but do like to know about potential issues so we can address them before general availability of the new iOS versions).

Cheers,

Greg
